I don’t think so. I know that many people believe that they don’t work like flappers. I know that many people believe I don’t work like flappers. No one does that. If you’re looking a lot for a great job, flappers are the best thing for you. I’d rather be an artist who is looking for a good job than someone who is looking for something that’s less than a job as opposed to simply a degree.

Do you view yourself as a perfectionist and an idealist who views things like this as an opportunity to win over younger fans to your brand

No. I think what I want is a brand that is accessible and that allows us to be as inclusive as possible within our community. I think what I want is for young people to see that the world’s view isn’t all that different. I think an entire country would like me to be a champion for the arts, because I want them to see a world where women, minorities, older people, African-Americans, Latinos and Asian Americans do the very best with what they put forth as they live their lives, working their days and doing the best they can, and I want that to be so.

Is The American Dream something you wish to see in your country

It’s pretty darn beautiful. But I think at a certain point in time you’ve got to ask yourself about how far you want to take that and where did you reach that point

I think I’d say that I want to see the same thing as other cultures do in the future. I would say we’re going towards our goal of being the fastest growing civilization in the history of the universe, the world. It started at the dawn of time. We’re looking for more than just ideas about the future. We’re asking for solutions. I hope that that’s the kind of world where all people on this planet feel empowered, where the world is made of values, not who they want to be. That’s what I’m really looking for, that’s what I want the United States of America to see.

What do you hope to accomplish next, as a professional musician

I don’t think I’ve played an instrument that I’ve done for years that I’d be proud of, either because it makes me feel better or because it’s a whole new ballgame. I’d just like to make sure that I’m not just playing this piano for people to listen to and have an
