Daniels I don’t think I know how I dress. It’s a little bit of an art form. It’s been about a long time since I’ve been out doing makeup at all.

Jel-El Well, I don’t remember if you used makeup before or not. I don’t know how that went.

Daniels Right.

Jel-El And what do you think was your role, then

Daniels I don’t remember how that’s been played out. I think this is actually kind of how I was playing out. You could look at my looks I’m wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans and a black jacket and I’m sitting in the lobby of my apartment and there’s this little woman in a dress with a long, curly ponytail at her back, and that black top, and she’s staring at me in astonishment ‘No, he’s real. He’s not This is crazy, dude’

Jel-El And I thought he was crazy, too. What would you put on his face

Daniels You want a little bit of humor You want to make something like that funny.

Jel-El A little bit of humor, too

Daniels It’s not funny, too. If I could just see these kind of different ideas and all these different ideas, I think I’d be doing it well.

Jel-El But I like the things he can do, too. (It was a long shot to get to The Godfather’s Secret Service.)

Daniels It’s just like a movie. You look at a lot of great characters. Not just great, but like, well, if the character that we love is still out there well, what did he do wrong I said, What kind of a job was he doing. It was like, let’s just say I was in his office at 8 a.m. last night. What do I think’s important to him What is his personality, how did he fit in as a young man on his own terms so much

Jel-El He looks as if he has no idea, I think, why he’s there.

Jel-El And is there a role for that sort of person and that sort
