I think it is the case that the people who saw those watches really loved them because I was in the process of building this project. I did work on a few that I thought were probably not made for me, but the one I liked the most (I am looking at you Lotte). You’ll have to learn to walk around with one of those for this.
Lotte is in a really good position in Japan. They have a very nice collection. For those of us who were working with someone like me, there’s plenty of time and space that would be available in different kinds of styles of watches. They definitely have more products in store, though. One of the things that would be nice would be a larger range of products.
Was the design done before the Japanese watches were released
Yes there’s probably at least two of those watches that I didn’t know were made before the Japanese watches came out. The two are the Watakei and the Cote de France and they were on display there for the first time last year. The third is the Zwei. I remember the people behind that watch said they didn’t know where it came from.
What other watches do you watch on tour, and how old do you think it is
The only one I do watch on tour in Japan is the Yota, which I’ve never seen. It looks really good right now, and there are not a whole lot of other models here. If you’re interested I recommend watching a bit of our interview in May when she explains what the Yota does.
So what’s a vintage watch that you’d like to watch with a new look going forward
I love vintage and I have a few very nice vintage watches, and some that I haven’t yet seen. I’m quite pleased with the selection and the production. I like that they have new watchcarts on the shelves. I do think that some people want something with a more historical or contemporary vibe when they put it together, but not all are good.
A lot of people I know have heard from people that they get the new vintage watch because of the timepieces that they like. I’ve always liked that idea, but they aren’t available on most of the European stores.
I wish that I could have a vintage watch. What’s the point in wearing something that would never be worn by anyone
It’s not a good point. What are you planning before a
