What happens to the money when they’re paying people in low-wage jobs who are not a part of any industry

I think there are so many facets of jobs that are more in need of people or, more importantly, in need of people who want to contribute to society, said Della Perr. I think the way life coaches deal with this kind of issue is by recognizing that life will happen for other people.

The current industry shortage is just the latest area in which the job loss can hurt. The state’s unemployment rate is just 1.6 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Parry, the former coach of the Florida Gators basketball team, said he is not surprised by the loss of life coaches and is eager to expand and provide training in such places. As an education contractor, he was a college basketball analyst with ESPN since 2000 and now serves as a business development consultant to clients such as UMG Global and K-Mart International, and has worked with coaches and schools such as Florida State with his expertise. He also worked for the Texas Longhorns as a defensive coach for seven seasons until his retirement in 2009.

One way to increase our ability to teach and help people is to get these things out there in public, said Parry. He also expressed his desire that life coaches be paid at minimum wage to encourage more jobs. He expects the industry to create jobs for people that don’t have to live under a wage structure.

Parry is hoping the job lost is only one of several options that can be used to address the job loss crisis. He said he and others from the industry have reached the point where they are paying for it themselves. The problem is that the current pay structure and lack of training provide workers who don’t get the same rewards from their jobs. D’Amore said that for many workers that’s not an option.

There’s a huge gap, she said. For many people that has to do with the situation in which they’re paying to get to a job where they’re paying the best salary possible.

Parry said working with people who have similar experiences to him is how he can increase educational opportunities for people in the area and encourage them to become good friends and be more knowledgeable about life.

I think the jobs that you can find right now are very exciting and that has to help grow, he said.
