The basic draw is usually a single image that a stylist will draw on a canvas or something. They’ve just been able to draw that in a way that doesn’t require any of the additional work needed in the drawing process. They can also draw more with paint or pencil to get more attention as it takes up space. It’s a lot simpler. But once you get started, you’ll realize the difference.

Why so much artistic expression in your work

I’m sure there are artists who, for whatever reason, never get very creative. There is a lot of art. And I tend to focus on the more subtle things in the art form.

But there’s certainly art that’s just so visually important because it’s so important. It’s just the way they have to express themselves on their work. Art is always so much about getting the message across to people that something is important. You see this in paintings. You see this with photographs. You see this with books. People often think that your art is so important because it relates to your sense of self, which is a great way to express yourself.

You’re a very creative person, do you feel compelled to bring out a lot of that artistic expression in your work

I think so. I think that’s what makes it so fun. If you’re trying to do something that’s not particularly original, and you find that out by taking a bit more of that inspiration, or if a piece is something you do as much as you need, it can be an exciting step.

It’s like taking the best idea that you can to something that people really like, that will get their attention. We are lucky to have artists from the big companies that offer great art, but it’s also true that they always give themselves a chance to push forward and explore some ways of bringing out great ideas for this work by creating interesting pieces.

It’s fun being able to say oh man, this is so unique. This works and to be able to go, hey look, these are my pieces. These are what I can do Let me take them. It’s like an expression that’s meant for someone else and that is just awesome.

Do your work ever need a license

No. We need a lot of artistic freedom right now. There’s some time out there. But that’s the only reason our company gets more artists. One of the things we really believe in is
