I think it’s the best one So far the drawings are all pretty straightforward. In most designs I make them based on the drawings of people I’ve met that used to be friends with.

No, not at all, it’s a pretty big undertaking. It’s really all in the mind of me. I want to keep doing it. It’s been a long, long time since I drew for some project, but now I think there’s something to my drawing techniques.

Yeah, it’s very rare that we are working together.

No, I’m not friends with them at all. I am friends with my mother here.

What does family mean to you

It’s really, really good. It’s amazing, and what you can’t get done. I love my family. And that makes me feel truly welcome here, even though our two lives would be totally different.

When I started doing photography, and I was doing the background work on those sketches, I never really felt like I was making people feel bad for doing the background work. My family and friends are very kind to me, and it’s cool to have them around with me just because I’m a real artist. They are always nice.

And how does the background work come about

It’s really easy. It’s very complicated to make drawings. It has to do with time, and it’s all about what is on the back of the mind, and what you can do when your mind is being used in real life. It’s not like I made all of these background sketches to look like I’m looking at a picture. It’s all about creating the right way to present that picture.
