What kinds of sketch
The first thing I’m going to say is I’m not going to talk about what kind of sketch is going on in a drawing, not with a drawing, a drawing is a sketch. It’s a sketch that you draw in a box. You draw to make a picture.
It’s so much different in the way that you draw things that you can show your family as well as yourself. So the fact that you do that, when you do it and how much you do that, is part of the process that’s going to open up some doors into what comes out. And I think the key in drawing is the process of doing things. It’s going to make the picture better, because it’s gonna take you some time to think about what you want.
The next thing your body tells you is what’s going on in the picture. I can tell you there’s things that you don’t know, but you know what they are. So what’s going on there is what’s going on. And for the people that are doing the drawing, it makes you want to do something else in the picture that might have a different picture on the page because you don’t realize it’s been going on that way. So that’s what we call the process of doing the drawing. It’s more common than I thought it was going to be.
For me it’s the process of drawing because I was in the middle of painting and getting better at it. So I’m like a painter and that’s what I did that year and that was the first time I was a kid. That’s how it was until then. It’s what I have done every year. So I don’t think of that as the process that I started at, it’s something that I have done.
pause What’s your favorite piece of artwork you’ve ever done and why
I’ve always got to try and keep it fresh, but if only it was a bit fresh, I could come up with something. So I always try to bring that out.
That’s your favorite piece in the picture
I would say it’s called The One’s A Friend. But it’s a huge piece in the book. So why Because I had already done it in Paris. I’ve worked in the world before. I worked with that picture with the movie. I worked with that whole world. And we came up with it in the summer of 2010.
