A Florida man was arrested on charges related to selling marijuana to an undercover FBI agent.
The case was investigated by federal agents, though they said that was only because the case was too active.
The man wanted to sell marijuana to an undercover FBI agent named John Cushman. That was the original purpose of Cushman’s plan before his arrest, FBI agents learned through reports of conversations with Cushman. The FBI later determined that he sold marijuana to another undercover agent during an undercover operation in November 2012.
Cushman, who went by the name Jimmy, told investigators that he’s wanted in Florida for drug charges related to his sale of marijuana on the internet. But he admitted that he sold marijuana to the DEA and he told investigators in 2015 that he wasn’t trying the drug anymore, even though he said he had several years of business experience with his business and has worked as a lawyer.
Cushman will be charged on April 4 with one count of receiving narcotics from the U.S., one count of trafficking in marijuana in interstate commerce and one counts of trafficking in a controlled substance. He was issued a 20,000 bond.
In April 2014, FBI Agents from the FBI and Florida Department of Law Enforcement raided Cushman’s home in Coral Springs, along with a lot of other young people, according to Cushman, and obtained a search warrant. But that was no more than two weeks after the FBI agents entered his home and seized a device used to search the house.
According to Cushman’s account, agents from the FBI and Florida arrested one of the young white folks. That’s the young white folks of Florida who he said was selling marijuana along with marijuana.
The FBI eventually found that the young white did not have any physical evidence to support his charge in this case, according to an agency statement.
