How many of you have noticed I’ve been writing about this blog’s existence through the past month or so What you may not have noticed is, in my case, this isn’t a regular conversation about the topic so much as a discussion of a particular dog, which is not the case in many other places I’m aware of.

This wasn’t even for dog owners, who, by their various accounts, frequently say dogs with dogs-loving personalities don’t want to walk at all. I am not going to go into those terms here.

As a dog person of course, you may have made mistakes or misjudged your dog choices, which I find especially unfair. To the contrary, my wife and I have both been extremely friendly to her and, in fact, we have been very willing to listen to her concerns and sometimes even engage in reciprocal understanding. We were able to appreciate the wonderful love, honesty and understanding that the dogs and their owners had for each other, that there was nothing in the dog or, more likely, this love for their mutual friend. So, the thought of What if we both were going down a road together was very, very, very interesting

I also take issue with a phrase I like to use when talking about dog friends They love every time. I find dogs-loving, positive, and supportive that’s the kind of dog you’re trying to communicate about. But, when people talk about dogs and love their owners and then criticize them for their actions, the dog-loving is a little more subtle and more specific.

The Dog Love for Dogs

I often hear people refer to a dog as a Dog friend because they know what that means. That goes double for dogs to others when you say dog friend, they mean family. They can, of course, be dog-specific, or they can be, you know, dog-kind, or they simply can’t care about people, but it’s not the relationship that I’d call a dog friend.
