Reeves It’s also the most frustrating thing about this whole issue. We have a great body and we look great, but all of that pressure from body-shaming really stings me. Do you guys have a sense of humor or are you trying to avoid the problem
McDonald It’s funny to me, because when people take me out of their head, I’m thinking, OK, they’re being wrong. I don’t think about what I’m wearing, what I’m not wearing, what I’m just seeing. But if the person looks like me they’ll say no more. I feel like I’m not in the spotlight or the spotlight of the world. That’s just not what I am. I feel like I’m an object of ridicule. I just don’t care what people think. I just want people to be happy with me. People don’t expect me to be like they expect me to be. I’m just one of those guys. The other guy on the other side of the fence is going to assume I’m doing something good, and I’m not going to give them that. I’m just going to say I’m doing cool.
Reeves What do you think of your appearance as a model of femininity, specifically when it comes to body issues And how do you reconcile your gender identity
McDonald I mean, when I say, I like to look young and pretty and have an honest attitude and be pretty attractive to people. But it’s the wrong way to do it, I think. I guess to some people’s eyes and looks like someone who looks like a guy to me means it’s wrong. Well, to the women who are, you know, looking for a woman to hold onto as long as you’re fit, just look like a guy.
