Well, you’ll see that I’m happy to see your lap dancing legal, because I think it has been proven to be a good idea. Some people (yes, you can call me ‘Lepidus’ now) like to dance around with their hips (although not the way you think) in fact, I believe it is legal now, and it seems that everyone’s favorite choreography for it is ‘Pussy Dance’.

Well for all of our reasons, we’ve started playing on a lot of the newer stuff that comes out on Spotify right now. Most importantly, we wanted to make our own new style of dance. This is based on the real world situations when people are coming out some are being thrown by police or the FBI, some have been raped or murdered. So, because we don’t know what the real world is like (although there’s a new movie coming soon), we had to try to make this stuff as original as possible (and I’m not talking about a lot of stuff you see on YouTube that will become standard dance for some reason or another).

One of the things we tried to come up with was a short choreography that takes about a minute to choreograph. The goal was

The dancers are sitting on an incline and get up to the rhythm, but they’re all facing the same guy walking down the aisle. The next step is to make sure that we were on the right line before they walk out and have that guy turn around to the left. We wanted to be able to use those two moves over as many times as we could without making it feel like one step too many.

We didn’t want it to be just one dancer, we wanted to be as open and accurate as possible. So, we created a new choreography that takes 15 minutes to do all the basic movements of a street dance.
