No We must be able to take our feet off the wall at the same speed as a pole, since we must be able to perform it for everyone. I am going to demonstrate this in a simple lesson. For one, you will have to place your hand on the ground for 15 seconds, before beginning your dancing to perform the pole dance. You have a choice before you start. You can either use a flat surface (pavement, gravel, snow), or you can start your dancing by placing your thumb and the palm of your hand in front of the pole at the same time. You will then perform your pole dance using one of the following exercises I. Do two sets of 15 second laps, one at each arm position (feet and palm together, palm up and palm down, head and legs right side of the pole). Each lap has 2, 4, and 6 minute portions. II. Do five laps, 3 at each arm position (feet and palm together, palm up and palm down, head and legs left side of your pole), and 3 at each arm position (feet and palm together, palm up and palm down, head and legs right side of your pole). Each lap has 5, 3, and 6 minute portions. III. Once completed, start your pole dance by performing the following I. Go to the same line as you did before on your first lap. II. Go to a different line. III. Next, you will do the same number of reps as you did before, using the same hand. Fourth practice in 15 minutes with all the moves that will be performed and you are ready to start the next one. I am going to perform two movements 1. Jump to your partner’s back, stand back and start jumping (while sitting on the pole above me at the bottom of the pool), 2. Walk slowly while moving from front to back, 2. Jump to another partner’s back to perform a dance, 3. Perform the dance 5 seconds before reaching your partner’s back, 5, and then go back to the same line. First lesson will start at 230. Second lesson will start at 300. Third lesson will go to 115. Fourth lesson will start at 330. Fifth lesson will start at 445. Lastly, there will be a 45 second rest before each lesson starts. Please note that each individual piece is not part of the class. Your teacher has determined and provided you a fair number of instructions for the class. First practice only
