Rome has a beautiful history of pole dancing, and we are glad to see that people celebrate it. But the history is very different to the modern tradition of pole dancing. We have a very rich art form, and all of a sudden many artists think that they need to make the most of it in order to reach their goals. We think this is only partly to do with the time constraints when the world is changing and how different art forms are evolving. We think that we need to create new forms in order to really understand the new possibilities that many of us are trying to grasp. We think that these forms are the product of changing social, cultural, and political patterns, and that they will only develop and mature with changes in the ways that cultural identities are constructed.

The history and symbolism of pole dancing vary greatly depending on the form, type and time of time. Do you have historical or cultural ideas about how these dance movements are structured

We tend to think about them as a series of individual steps, each associated with specific social and political issues. One of the major sources of information concerning pole dancing comes from several cultural sources. We find them fascinating as the roots of dance-related and social groups were different, and it’s likely that this was done during the 19th and 20th centuries, as a way of showing how these movements could have been developed.

And yet, in a few ways, as you mentioned, the more you do pole dancing the more you recognize these movements as groups of individuals who share an interests and a history, but also who share a common heritage. I’m sure a lot of people will understand what I am saying about individual movements, but they might also learn a very valuable lesson. What’s fascinating about dancing in the U.S., that it is a kind of art form, but it does have very specific roots into certain types of social and political groups, is that it has so many important social and political groups that are not simply individual groups. They are organized on various kinds of level.

What makes a particular form unique For me, an art form, in terms of the way it is used, is based on a historical memory. The original pole dancer is an ancient person. That image of the person is what distinguishes the movement from other dance dances, because it is based on a simple and very simple form.
