Not only do we have much to do with how our companies operate, how we use our services, how we deliver and how our staff is positioned, but we also want to see a more comprehensive business plan based on our key attributes.

A very big part of this is based, perhaps for the better, on our customers’ decisions. If you’re talking about people who aren’t really there they’re only there for a brief period of time in the face of all those things that we do, you know, it’s hard to see how our business can survive. So there’s a lot more to be said about how that could work.

So the big question for me going forward is can we just go as far as we possibly can in looking at what business models that we want to pursue and how quickly we can create a better model for people and businesses.

And it’s a very exciting question What’s your strategy going forward for the Internet of Things

I think it’s a really, really good question. To start off we’re going to have to sort through different elements of why we want to be involved. We want to explore how we can get to where we are today, and what we can do in order to make certain that we’re more innovative in what we do. So we’re going to need to learn and work with experts in the areas that matter in that.

But I’m really hopeful there’s lots more that’ll come along with it because it opens up a lot more possibilities.

And when you think about what kind of solutions we need to have for things like infrastructure, energy and so on, that’s what’s really going to be driving our business. There are a lot more good things out there today than there were 10, 20 or 30 years ago when it became common perception that smart robots were going to be in every house on this planet.

I’ve also heard some people say, well, the problem is that we just haven’t figured out how to make these things work together so well. That may not be true. But then, by trying to figure out the whole inter-operability and inter-operation thing, you don’t want that to happen. We have to use tools that really capture the whole, not just the parts that matter and which we don’t yet know how to use to make things that you could possibly use.
