That’s a different question than whether players are cheating, even when playing on the roulette wheel at the casinos, because they can’t get the best outcome.

Foley has said he plans to hold a special presentation in Las Vegas at 12 p.m. to raise money through the game, and the show will take place at the casino. He also is going to run an event in Nashville on June 20-21, where he will unveil the new MGM Grand.

When Foley attended his first public campaign rally, in 2012, he promised to repeal gambling laws. Now, he’s touting the casino industry’s push to fix their grip on Americans.

The last thing we want is for people in this country to go broke. We want them to be prepared to go through the pain of losing their livelihoods if they’ve got 10,000 in gambling assets, Foley said, noting casino gambling accounts accounted for more than 3 million federal dollars of revenue the last year. We need casinos to be prepared to do this, and I think that’s something that’s going to be a central part of our campaign.

And that’s what Foley has in mind when he talks about his recent remarks about casinos and his support for Nevada Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval in a phone interview.

You know, we just won (in) Arizona and Nevada. And for people in Nevada, the casinos in Nevada are a big thing today, Foley said. So they’re big. They’re really good players here here. It would be nice if they built a casino-and now they are. The casinos in Las Vegas don’t need that.

The former Nevada casino tycoon and Republican front-runner for Las Vegas mayor is leading Republican efforts to take legal action against Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval, who has been trying to fix gambling problems in Nevada for years. But Foley points out that Sandoval has little clout in Nevada’s casinos.

He hasn’t done much, Foley said of Sandoval, who had just announced he would be running for governor. But I have not heard anything from the governor. I haven’t heard anything from any of our top leaders. I know Sandoval, and he’s running a campaign that’s good for Nevada. I know he’ll get things done and he knows his place.
